Happy Thanksgiving! #2

This was during our trip to the cave houses, where we encountered some local felines. The cave houses were built because they are cooler in the summer. They the right idea. It got HOT that day. And the next day. And the next day. And the next day. Until about the middle of October.

A HUGE aloe plant.

Makes sense, I guess...

Happy Thanksgiving #1 part deux

I forgot to talk about the Arab baths! We went to the Arab baths after visiting the Mezquita and they're AMAZING. We had 15-minute massages with essential oils (I picked jasmine oil. Can you tell I miss my cat?) and soaked in the baths. There were hot baths, cold baths and temperate baths. I think I fell asleep several times. It was wonderful. I wasn't able to take any pictures because I was too busy relaxing. And I didn't want my camera to get wet.

Happy Thanksgiving! #1

I know a lot of you are impatient and annoyed that I haven't put any more pictures up, so here are a few. My comments may be scant, but I have a test next week and I'm going to Portugal this weekend so I really need to study while I can. Here they are (where there are comments they will appear BELOW the picture):

This is Córdoba. City of La Mezquita and the Arab baths.

The architecture here is incredible, I love it!

Getting ideas for decorating my future house... :)

This is the courtyard of La Mezquita (mezquita = mosque), with the cathedral in the background.

The belltower
...and the Mezquita itself! This place is huge. With my lack of photography skills it's hard to get good pictures with good angles, so sorry if they suck.

Cool ceilings are EVERYWHERE.

The last two pictures are in the cathedral. So cool.

More to come! <3
